As I was after all over the country, I would like to Craigslist. Place an ad for each item (or, if they are many) for the best articles. Show dates and times for an open house. I have the open day 3-fold and 90% of everything was gone. The rest will be donated to charity.
My parents just sold their house and everything he bought a camper and have withdrawn from next year you travel. Then they called a consignment shop for most of it and had a flea market for the rest.
It depends on what you are trying to sell. If it is really good, you can call a company selling products that will have everything at once. When it comes to hardware, which probably would not be better with a garage sale. Good luck!
