Tax Implications Of Withdrawing From Ira What Are The Tax Implications For Canadians For 401k And ROTH IRA At Retirement?

What are the tax implications for Canadians for 401k and ROTH IRA at retirement? - tax implications of withdrawing from ira

How to work if taxes for Canadians who have worked in the U.S. to withdraw money to their 401k or Roth IRA for retirement? Someone told me that 401k can be removed (and pay taxes in the United States), but if the money is collected in Canada will be taxed no more. However, the Roth IRA will be taxed again as income in Germany. Is that true? If so, this defeats the whole purpose of growing tax free in the Roth IRA.

I currently work in the United States, but I am a Canadian citizen and, therefore, that you really know where they retire (except 40 years ago), I do not know where to invest it. I'm trying to gather information to make an informed decision.

Thanks
